Joint Statement from UFCW Local 880, Giant Eagle and Heinen’s Concerning the Status of the Contract Negotiations
After numerous bargaining sessions addressing healthcare, wages, vacation, holidays and much more, Local 880, Giant Eagle and Heinen’s are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement. Local 880 and your full bargaining committee unanimously recommend approval of the tentative agreement.
During our November 6th meeting, we were close to reaching an agreement but needed more time to work on a few remaining details. As of today, we have successfully completed the tentative agreement.
Local 880 will notify you shortly about the next steps in the ratification process.
